Meet Señora Saucer

Amy is Iowa grown and received her degree in Elementary Education and Spanish from Central College in Pella, IA. She was able to study overseas twice in her time at Central spending a semester in Merida, Mexico and a semester in Granda, Spain.

Amy has taught 2^nd Grade, High School Spanish levels I and II at St. Mary’s High School in Colorado Springs, CO and was part of the team to develop the Elementary Spanish program for the Cheyenne Mountain School District #12 in Colorado Springs in 2002-2003 school year.  

The Saucer family, Amy, her husband, Dan, and their three boys; Alan, Eddie, and Joey moved to Albuquerque in May 2010. She has been home with her three busy boys since summer of 2003.  She is muy feliz (very happy) to be returning to Cross of Hope this year!  We can't wait to see how the 3rd year of the program goes!!
