Each year, the Cross of Hope community puts together a Lenten devotional. Written by young and old alike, it is designed to help you reflect and spend time with God in prayer and devotion. From the intro:

“Just do it!” was for many years the slogan of Nike, the sports athletic provider. You probably recognize its famous swoosh.

The idea of the Just do it! campaign was to get people doing a variety of sports and outdoor activities using, well, Nike equipment. It also implied that often rather than thinking of doing something, we need to do it. Rather than staying in the envelope, we start pushing it. We give up the excuses and simply do something.

If you are like me, finding time for my spiritual discipline is difficult. We are all so very busy that finding time for God doesn’t fit in. Just don’t have the time; you know.

Just do it! Start with the devotions here every day. Read a little scripture. Pray unceasingly. Come to church and worship with your brothers and sisters.
